Gods & Generals- In August of 2001 the movie Gods and Generals Starring: Bruce Boxleitner, Jeff Daniels, Kevin Conway, Robert Duvall, Mira Sorvino, Stephen Lang
Directed by: Ronald F. Maxwell was filmed in Lexington, Va. 2 scenes from the movie were actually filmed at Church Hill. The rooms remain much the same as they were in the movie and are easily recognizable to those who took a close interest in the movie. VA tourism about Gods & Generals

War of the Worlds- In December of 2004 the movie War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise and directed by Steven Spielberg was filmed in Bustleburg, Va. (about 10 minutes from Lexington and the same from Church Hill.
